THE MAGICAL IMAGES OF TANIA AND LAZLO by Jean Blanchaert
2011

These photographs not only amaze for the technical realization, but also for a certain magic, that is the feeling of a real life that actually breathes.
Something much closer to us than the paintings from which the two artists have taken inspiration.

The images of Tania and Lazlo are certainly very similar to those of the great painters, but at the same time manage to be completely different. The woman depicted, for example, continues to stand, abandoned in the midst of the painting. Tania, instead laying while Lazlo shooting (they had prepared the set together) cannot, luckily, hide the wonder, the excitement, the surprise of being there.

The Decadentism has not been betrayed but reinterpreted. To revive the spirit of one hundred years ago it took a defibrillator.
For this reason, the third millennium NeoDecadentism of Tania Brassesco and Lazlo Passi Norberto is so alive and so different.

The protagonist of this work, Tania, isn't a dissolute Viennese lady of a hundred years ago. All this can be seen, felt and it is a good thing.
